Name of Deceased: Barbara Theresa Teeple Residence: Bay Mills, Michigan Date & Place of Death: Saturday October 5, 2013 at War Memorial Hospital Date & Place of Birth: June 9, 1925 Bay Mills, Michigan Hobbies/Interests/Memberships: Barbara was a devoted wife and mother. She worked in several positions within her community throughout the years; including Pendells Fish Hatchery, the election board and was one of the very first workers at the Bay Mills Bingo where she ran the concession for years. Her faith in the Catholic religion was strong and she especially enjoyed her prayer with Father Ted. She loved to watch the Detroit Tigers and could easily tell you the entire roster. She lovingly spent her entire life taking care of her family and being an active member within the Bay Mills Indian Community . She always had a friendly smile for everyone and enjoyed the people within her community. She will be sadly missed by family and friends alike. SURVIVED BY: Son: Mervin Teeple Daughters: Laurel (Jerry) Keenan; Tracy (Greg) Bertram; Marilyn Teeple Grandchildren: Allen; Sherry; Bobby; Darrin; Edgar III; Allen; Sara; Lance; Dan; Marla; Tamera; Dylan; Kiley and Klaire. Several Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews. PREDECEASED BY: Husband- Edgar A. Teeple, Sr.; Son- Edgar A. Teeple, Jr.; Daughters- Barbara Joyce Siegal; Marla Teeple; Carolyn (Mike) Teeple; Brothers- Basil; Simon; Floyd and Perry Teeple. Sisters- Arnelda Toby and Carol Soorus. Parents- Laura and Perry Teeple. Grandchildren- Wayne and Richard Assiginack; Robert Teeple Visitation: 11:00am until 12 noon Wednesday October 9, 2013 at St. Kateri Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial 12 noon Wednesday October 9, 2013 at St. Kateri Catholic Church with Brother John Hascall as Celebrant.
