Billie Elaine Stoneburner

Billie Elaine Stoneburner, age 68, of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, died Thursday, April 30, 2015 in Sault Ste. Marie. She was born November 9, 1946 in Petoskey, Michigan, to Arthur H. and Eva (Hadix) Rosebohm. Billie grew up in Petoskey and graduated from Harbor Springs High School. Billie worked as a home health care aide and caregiver in Harbor Springs for many years. She moved to the Sault Ste. Marie area in 1979 and worked for the Chippewa County Home Health until she retired in 1999. Billie attended the Rosedale Community Church. Billie was an avid crafter who worked on many different types of crafts over the years. She enjoyed watching television. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and always felt she needed to take care of everybody else before taking care of herself. Billie is survived by sons, Daniel Rosebohm of Sault Ste. Marie, Gary Stoneburner Jr. of Georgetown, Texas, and Joe (Sherri) Banas of Hopkins, Michigan; son-in-law, Marc (Stacy) Johnson of Pickford, Michigan; step-children, Rebecca Stoneburner of Pellston, Michigan, Sonja Stoneburner of Yipsilanti, Michigan, Tammy (Scott) Latva of Alanson, Michigan, Patricia (Michael) Doss of Pellston/Alanson, Michigan, and Duane (Linda) Stoneburner of Cheboygan, Michigan; grandchildren, Sydney Johnson, Cody Rosebohm, Krystal Rosebohm, Miranda Stoneburner, Jamie Jo Stoneburner, Brian Latva, William Stoneburner, Steven Doss, Hayden Doss, Amanda Banas, Kristin Banas, and Tabitha Banas; and great grandchildren, Bentlee Parker and Marlee Cooke. Billie is also survived by brothers and sisters, Arthur A. Rosebohm of Pellston, Michigan, Jeanne (John) Harrison of Petoskey, Michigan, Darlene Potter of Warsaw, Indiana, Kenneth Tobert (Arbutus) Barkley of Harbor Springs, Michigan, and Richard (Margaret) Barkley of Harbor Springs, Michigan. Billie was preceded in death by her daughter, Tracy Johnson; husband, Albert William “Bill” Stoneburner, brother, Donald Barkley; and grandchildren, Ryan and Sharon Ann Kik. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 6, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at R. Galer Funeral Home, 24549 S. M-129 in Pickford, Michigan. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 7 at 11:00 AM at R.
