Marie, Michigan Date & Place of Death: Went to be with the Lord on Friday Aug. 13, 2010 at Tendercare Nursing Home Date & Place of Birth: March 25, 1917 Toledo, Ohio Hobbies/Interests/Memberships: Chuck was raised and educated in Flint, Michigan. He worked as a manufacturing engineer for Ford Motor Company, Teledyne and Gulf Western. He designed the tester for bombsight accuracy in WWII; took depth sounding for both approaches to the Mackinac Bridge; at 14 years of age played piano dinner music on the radio. He was most proud of his children John and Sue. Member of St. Mary''s ProCathedral Church. SURVIVED BY: Wife Dorothy Son John A. (Diane) Kane of Kincheloe, Michigan Daughter Susanne M. Hayden of Chicago, Illinois Grandchildren Lindsay (Morgan) Noland: Sean E. Hayden and Maria J. Kane Step Great Grandson Zachary D. Seward PREDECEASED BY: Parents- Charles F. and Nora K. Kane; Brothers- Sears F. Kane and John E. Kane Memorial Mass will be held 11:00am Friday August 20, 2010 at St. Mary''s ProCathedral Church with Father Sebastian Kavumkal as Celebrant. Final Resting Place: City of Clare, Michigan Cemetery In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Chippewa County Right to Life or Hospice of the E.U.P. would be appreciated.
