Corrinne Ann Fountain

Corrinne Ann (McDonald) Fountain has walked her journey out and has arrived safely home with Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior. Corrinne, age 79, of Pickford, Michigan, left her earthly home on October 15, 2016. She was born March 10, 1937, in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. Corrinne grew up in Pickford and Rudyard and graduated from Pickford High School. As a young woman, she worked at the Pickford Branch of Sault Savings Bank. She married Roger Fountain on September 7, 1956, at the United Methodist Church in Pickford. She and Roger settled on their farm in Pickford where she helped farm and raised their three children, Debra, Scott, and Sandra. Corrinne was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Pickford Farm Bureau. She enjoyed reading, sewing, and spending time at the hunting cabin. She loved every moment she spent with her family. Corrinne is survived by her children, Debra Sue (Tim) Rader of Kinross, Michigan, Scott Roger (Lana) Fountain of Pickford, and Sandra Dee Fountain of Pickford; grandchildren, Michelle, Joshua, Racheal, Caleb, Becky, Jill, Beth, Ashley, Justin, Patrick, Alex, and Abby; and seventeen great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, William (Yvonne) McDonald of Cedarville, Gary (Elsie) McDonald of St. Ignace, Michigan, Sharon (Don) Thompson of Clarkston, Michigan, Kathy (Steve) Fountain of Cedarville, and Arbutus “Boots” (Clifford) Carr of Rudyard. Corrinne was preceded in death by her mother, Isabelle Irene (Batho) McDonald; father, William “Lloyd” McDonald; step-mother, Lempi Julia McDonald; husband, Leland “Roger” Fountain; sister, Vera Mae Taylor; brother, and Leo (Eilenne) Kemp. Services will be held Friday, October 21, at R. Galer Funeral Home, 24549 S. M-129 in Pickford. Gathering time will be from 10:30 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. The Memorial Service will begin at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Tim Bashore conducting the service. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Pickford Township.
