Angela Coullard

Angela May Coullard (born 5-4-90) was called to Heaven on 2-24-05. Angela was a kind-hearted, gentle soul who found beauty in all people and things. She went out of her way to please others and make sure everyone felt special and welcome. Her smile lit up everyone's heart. Angela's favorite thing was spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed camping and spent many memorable, happy days out at Monocle Lake. It was very important to Angela to keep in touch with everyone via MSN chat and her cell phone. While Angie always enjoyed electronics and music, she also loved to bake, pick berries, crochet, and sew. Angela was not one to ever seek the limelight or boast of her accomplishments. Angela always gave 110% and excelled at many things. She was a straight-A student, a gifted artist who loved to sketch and draw, and an outstanding athlete. Her passion was swimming and being a member of the swim team for Sault Area High School. She placed fourth in the UP finals this year in the 100 butterfly and helped her team take the gold in 400 freestyle relay and silver in the 200 freestyle relay in which they set a school record in both events. A loving sister, Angela could be counted on to be a friend and confidante to her sister Jocelyn. She always had a loving smile for brother Marcel, and a warm cuddle for brother Nick. Those who know and love her will never forget Angela's internal and external beauty. Her life was a universal example of how we should all live and celebrate life. Angela is survived by: Parents Jon and Elena (Rasaiah) Coullard, Sister Jocelyn Coullard, Brother Marcel Coullard, Brother Nicholas Coullard, Grandparents Maurice and Dolly Coullard, Grandparents Dr. Bhubendra and Angela Rasaiah, Aunts and Uncles: Annalisa (Rasaiah) and Randy Anderson; Suvi and Beverli Rasaiah, Jean-Pierre and Tracy Rasaiah, Miguel Rasaiah, Vijay and Vanessa Rasaiah, Alistair and Allison Rasaiah, Chavaleh (Rasaiah) and Brent Morley, Selva Rasaiah, Tsha Rasaiah and Tim Carroll, Misha Rasaiah and Alex Klensch, Maria Coullard, Michele (Micky) and Kevin Walker, Collette Coullard, Jill and Derick Eitrem, Roger Coullard and Jessica Carley and nearly countless cousins. Visitation will be held at St. Joseph's church on Sunday, February 27, 2005 from 1:00-5:00 pm. Mass will be held directly after at 5:00 p.m. Burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery in the Spring. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Angela Coullard Scholarship Fund.
