Carolyn Ann Hank

Carolyn Ann Hank, 85, passed away after a long battle with dementia and lung disease. She was surrounded by family and her final moments were filled with love. Carolyn was born to the late Anthony and Blanche Millon of Cedarville, Michigan on May 16th, 1937. Carolyn was a student of Cedarville High School and enjoyed a long life in the Sault Sainte Marie and Cedarville communities after graduation. During her secretarial career she worked for several different companies and retired from Clark Township. She had many hobbies that she often used to create items for others. Knitting was a big passion, and her work has been and will be treasured for many generations. Carolyn also enjoyed baking, her treats were unparalleled and always baked with love. Her many other hobbies included: bird watching, gardening, berry picking, canning, boating, camping, and spending time with her family. During a night of dancing at The Albany Bar, Carolyn met the love of her life, Richard (Dick) Hank. The pair married on October 6th,1962 and spent 59 years cherishing each other. Carolyn and Richard shared such a bond in life that it transpired in death, Richard passed away October 24th, 2021, exactly 1 year before Carolyn. Carolyn is survived by her children, Richard Hank Jr. (Michelle Anderson), Timothy Hank, Lisa (Mike) Townsend; Grandchildren, Jocelyn (Cameron) Hoy, and Sydney Hank; Great grandchildren, Holden and Griffin Hoy; Her brother, Adrian (Sue) Millon, along with many in-laws. She is preceded in death by her husband Richard; her parents, Anthony and Blanche; her siblings, Paul, Larry, Elaine (Patrick Esson) and her beloved dog, Maui. Per her wishes there will be no public service and a family memorial will be scheduled at a later date. To those who were lucky enough to know Carolyn, you know that she always had a smile and time for a chat. She radiated light and will be deeply missed.
