Mandi Jo Willis

Mandi Jo Willis, 17 entered into heaven on December 16th 2015 at her home with family and friends by her side. Mandi was a student at Sault Area High School. She enjoyed going to school very much. Mandi was always smiling and happy. She enjoyed camping with her Nana and Papa-T and riding her golf cart. She also enjoyed watching Barney, Dora and SpongeBob. She also enjoyed painting, coloring, playing with her dolls, shopping and building with her blocks. Mandi loved interacting during family activities. She loved spending time with her Mom and Dad. Mandi also had a very special relationship with her Nana. They built a bond that could never be broken. To know her was to love her. She put a smile on everyone’s face. Marie, MI; Edward Willis, III of Brimley, MI; Thomas (Karen) Germain of Colorado Springs, CO; Timothy Willis of Minot, ND; sisters Desiree (Boyd) Germain of Kinross, MI; Janelle Willis of Sault Ste. Marie, MI; Jill Willis of Sault Ste. Marie, MI; grandparents Suzy Niemi & Terry Niemi (Nana & Papa T) of Barbeau, Michigan; Beatrice (Don) Willis of Hessel, MI; Sherla Moore of Zephyrhills, FL and Uncle Deets. Also surviving are cousins MichaelGermain,Jr. of Minot, ND; Khailah Badder of Farwell, MI, Dominic Germain of Kincheloe, MI and Dillan Luepnitz of Kincheloe, MI. Predeceased by great grandparents Hoppy and Eleanor Germain; Edward Willis. 4 uncles Weegie Mongene, Jackie Germain, Richard Germain and Larry McKechnie. Grandfather Danny Bradley; cousins Jimmie Lee Germain, Jackie Bennett, Wally Bosley and Francis McKechnie. Mandi had a very special relationship with her aunts Patti Bosley, Sharon Oliver, Linda Germain, Janet Germain, Sandy Graham and Theresa Germain, and her Uncle Deets. We would like to thank all who was there throughout this trying time for bringing food, cleaning and just being there. A special thanks to Amanda Tobias Theresa Germain and Linda Germain and Jimmie Germain. Visitation will be held 9:30am until 12 noon on Monday December 21, 2015 at Niigaanaagiizhik Ceremonial Building. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 12 noon on Monday December 21, 2015 at Niigaanaagiizhik Ceremonial Building with Brother John Hascall as Celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Family Donaldson Catholic Cemetery. Clark Bailey Newhouse Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
